Kansas City, Mo.; April 3, 2025: Kansas City International Airport (MCI) concession manager Vantage Group and Escape Lounges today celebrated the opening of the new pay-per-visit airport lounge at MCI, offering travelers an escape to remember.

All passengers travelling through MCI will be able to access the lounge, regardless of airline, point status, or credit card in hand. Guests have the option to pre-book their experience online via escapelounges.com.

The new Escape Lounge showcases the unique flavor and spirit of the Kansas City region, including design elements inspired by Kansas City’s moniker, the City of Fountains. Custom lighting and installations by local artists, including Suze Ford, Nathan Neufeld, and Belger Arts, enhance the space.

Escape Lounges has partnered with The Roasterie Coffee Company, a locally owned and operated business, to provide its renowned coffee for guests to enjoy before their flight.

Located in Concourse A (north) near gate A5, the lounge offers complimentary:

• Chef-curated menus – breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings that change seasonally, highlight local flavors, and cater to various dietary requirements
• Local wines, beer, and spirits*
• Power outlets, high-speed Wi-Fi, and up-to-date flight information

The lounge offers unique zones that cater to a range of different experiences, including quiet areas, family gathering spaces, and a statement dining zone for guests to enjoy an array of curated dishes from the Escape Lounges culinary team.

This new amenity rounds out the range of locally-focused shops, restaurants, and experiences available at MCI.
