Mar 10, 2025

Airports Council International (ACI) has named Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) the 2024 Best Airport in the Latin America & Caribbean region for airports serving 2-5 million guests. This prestigious recognition is based on Airport Service Quality (ASQ) surveys conducted at more than 400 airports worldwide.

Vernice Walkine, President & CEO of Nassau Airport Development Company (NAD), expressed deep gratitude for the award, highlighting the dedication and hard work of the entire LPIA community, including employees, airline partners, concessionaires, and key stakeholders. She emphasized that this achievement reflects the team’s commitment to providing a positive travel experience despite operational challenges. Walkine also noted that while they celebrate this success, the journey towards excellence continues, with a goal of achieving a 5-star rating.

Justin Erbacci, Director General of ACI World, congratulated the LPIA team for their remarkable accomplishment in the ASQ Awards, recognizing the airport as one of the best globally for customer experience, as chosen by passengers themselves. He encouraged them to continue raising the standards.

The ACI ASQ initiative is the only global benchmarking program that measures guest satisfaction throughout the travel process. The 2024 results underscore LPIA’s ongoing commitment to delivering world-class service and enhancing the travel experience for both guests and residents.
